Battery Holders

This battery holder accepts six AA batteries to provide 9V output power (when using 1.5V cells) via the 2.1mm barrel jack male plug.

We recommend using quality 1.5V alkaline cells rather than cheap zinc-carbon 1.2V (as 1.2V cells will only provide 7.2V...and zinc-carbon cells ALWAYS leak and ruin your day!).

Great for making a portable 9V power supply for your projects, and 9V is ideal for the Arduino Uno and similar boards too.
