General-Purpose Project Enclosure - 55x55x42mm

We now stock a new range of general-purpose project enclosures from Camdenboss, offering you a wide range of sizes and styles to fit your project.

This enclosure is the Camdenboss BIM2008/18 which measures 55mm long, 55mm wide and 42mm high and comes without flanges. If you take a look at the product images, we've included a shot showing the Seeed XIAO RP2040 to give you a 'real' idea of the size of this project box.

The enclosure is made from high-gloss, high-impact ABS (UL94-HB) which is easy to cut, drill, machine and modify for your project. The enclosure is assembled using four included cross-head screws which drive into the plastic threaded lid, and has been designed to meet the requirements of IP54.

The lid section also includes several integral mounting guides to accept 1.6mm PCBs - great for those of you making your own PCBs.
