These alligator clips are a bit special - they have an alligator clip one end and a male jumper wire header on the other.
They're great for connecting micro:bit projects and parts to breadboards and modules/components which use female jumper wire connections.
They're also handy for the Raspberry Pi when prototyping with components which don't have convenient headers for standard jumper wires - think motors or similar!
We also have the opposite type of cable here, with female header ends
