The SparkFun Qwiic OLED Display is a 1.5" 128×128 monochrome COG OLED with deep blacks and no backlight. Use Qwiic I2C for easy plug-and-play, or switch to SPI (with trace cuts) for faster updates.

The SparkFun Qwiic OLED Display provides a sharp, professional-looking interface in a compact 1.5" format. With a 128 × 128 pixel resolution and a 1:1 aspect ratio, this monochrome white-on-black display offers a high pixel density that’s ideal for custom graphics, icons, and data plotting. It uses Chip-on-Glass (COG) OLED technology, and because OLED pixels emit their own light, there’s no backlight required. This helps keep the display thin and power efficient, while also delivering excellent contrast with deep blacks.

Versatile Connectivity

This board supports both quick plug-and-play setup and higher-speed communication options:

Qwiic Connect System (I2C): Two Qwiic connectors provide simple I2C connectivity. Just plug in a Qwiic cable to start displaying text and graphics with no soldering or breadboarding needed.

SPI capable: Standard 0.1" pins are also broken out for SPI communication if you need faster refresh rates.

Please note: Using SPI requires cutting traces on the back of the board, and your microcontroller must use 3.3V logic.
