USB-C OTG Converter Shim

Cable Adapters

So you've got a smart new laptop and everyone's jealous of you - but wait - you only have USB-C connections?! How are you going to use all of your existing USB cables for transferring data to your projects?

Here's how - a USB-C OTG Converter Shim!

This little guy slots inside the USB connector on your cable/device and converts it to USB-C for uploading sketches and more! Simple, handy and teeny-tiny! The shim downgrades the connection to USB 2.0/2.1 as it's a simple 4-pin OTG adapter.

You can also use these with USB-C smartphones. We also sell a micro-USB version.

Warnings!

  • Not recommended for purely powering USB-C devices - intended for data/USB connections only
  • Plug this into your USB device first, ensuring that the 4 gold pins are facing the 4 contacts within the USB connector
  • NEVER plug this into a female USB port (such as on your Raspberry Pi or PC)

No responsibility will be taken for misuse of this product!
