Audio Adapter Board for Teensy 4.0 (Rev D)
This audio adaptor lets you easily add high-quality 16-bit, 44.1 kHz sample rate (CD quality) audio to your projects with Teensy 4.0 (Rev D). It supports stereo headphone and stereo line-level output, and also stereo line-level input or mono microphone input.
The Teensy Audio Library lets you use the input and output simultaneously, together with a toolkit of audio processing objects, to easily create all types of sophisticated audio applications. You can play multiple sound files, create synthesised waveforms, apply effects, mix multiple streams and output high-quality audio to the headphones or line out pins.
Note: This board works with Teensy 4.1-4.1; it is not pin-compatible with the Teensy 3.X boards.

- As of 15/12/23 - We are now stocking Rev D2
- **Rev D2 is functionally the same as Rev D for normal usage. The exception is using 2 audio shields together to get 4 channel sound. Rev D2 lacks the I2C address config, requiring a 2nd I2C bus to control the 2nd audio shield. For all usage of only 1 audio shield for 2 channels or stereo, it works exactly the same as Rev D
