M.2 NVMe Expansion Board for Argon ONE V5

Argon40 Products

This add-on module for the Argon ONE V5 case allows you to add fast M.2 NVMe SSD storage to your Raspberry Pi 5, for booting or just general media/file storage.

The Argon V5 case has a dedicated interface for this module, making installation quick and easy. It supports M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 format, such as the well-tested Raspberry Pi SSD.

There are two versions available:

  • The single-slot version is the same board that comes pre-installed in the Argon ONE V5 M.2 NVMe, which gives you a single M.2 slot - a good option for those who bought the non-M.2 version of the case and now want to add an SSD
  • The dual-slot version allows you to fit two M.2 NVMe SSDs - an upgrade for standard V5 case owners, or V5 M.2 owners who want to upgrade to dual-SSD (you'll have to remove the current single-slot module first, both can't be used at the same time)

Argon ONE V5 case required but not included.

Features

  • Single or dual-slot M.2 NVMe add-on module for the Argon ONE V5 Raspberry Pi 5 case
  • Compatible with M.2 NVMe SSDs in 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280 format
    • Not compatible with SATA M.2 drives!
  • Only one module can be installed at a time
  • SSD not included

Drive Compatibility

We recommend the Raspberry Pi M.2 NVMe SSD, however Argon40 have also provided a list of compatible SSDs that they have tested. Other drives may also be compatible but have not been tested yet:
