Thumbwheel Potentiometer for Teensy Audio Adapter
This 25kΩ potentiometer is made for the Teensy Audio Adapter Board, perfect for adding volume or audio parameter control. A simple way to expand your Teensy audio projects.
We're stocking this 25kΩ for use with the Teensy Audio Adapter, allowing you to add volume or audio parameter control. Further information on mounting orientation, pinout and control can be found on the PJRC website.
You can, of course, just use this as a potentiometer for many other projects.
An adjustable potentiometer can open up many interesting user interfaces. Turn the pot and the resistance changes. Connect VCC to an outer pin, GND to the other, and the centre pin will have a voltage that varies from 0 to VCC depending on the rotation of the pot. Hook the centre pin to an ADC on a microcontroller and get a variable input from the user!
This 3/8" round trimpot has a resistance of 25 kOhms and a tolerance of ±20%. Check the datasheet for dimensional drawings.
