Raspberry Pi Micro SD Card with RPi OS Pre-Installed

Official Raspberry Pi Products

An official Raspberry Pi 32GB, 64GB, 128GB or 256GB A2 Class MicroSD card pre-installed with 64-bit Raspberry Pi OS - Raspberry Pi's very own operating system!

Don't have an SD card reader handy, or deploying to multiple machines such as a classroom or similar environment? No problem! This handy little microSD card comes with Raspberry Pi OS already installed. Perfect for a Raspberry Pi beginner and convenient for those with more experience.

Works with all models of Raspberry Pi old and new, including Raspberry Pi 5,  Pi 400, Raspberry Pi 4 Model B, Raspberry Pi 3 and Raspberry Pi Zero.

We only recommend the official Raspberry Pi MicroSD cards for use with Raspberry Pi boards due to their reliable quality and super-fast A2-class speeds.

For even greater I/O and boot performance with Raspberry Pi 5, check out the Raspberry Pi SSD kit!

Why are A2-Class Micro SD Cards better for Raspberry Pi?

Class A2 cards offer exceptional random read and write throughput across the entire range of Raspberry Pi computers, and when used on Raspberry Pi 5, support 'command queueing' for even higher performance!

Raspberry Pi 5 incorporates hardware features which allow it to make the most of this extra performance.

If you want to read into the technical reasons behind this (including CQHCI, command queueing (CQ) mode, meta-ops and other such fun) - check out Raspberry Pi's announcement blog post, which gets right into the detail!
