2.13" ePaper HAT+ for Raspberry Pi (250x122)
The Waveshare 2.13" E-Paper HAT+ is a compact, low-power display for Raspberry Pi, offering a 250x122 resolution and support for partial refresh. With no backlight and a paper-like display effect, it maintains the last image even when powered down—ideal for ultra-low power applications.
This version adopts the Raspberry Pi HAT+ standard and includes an onboard high-precision RTC for accurate timekeeping. The PCB uses immersion gold plating and includes extra mounting holes for easier fixing in enclosures or projects.
Refresh times are fast - full refresh takes around 2 seconds, while partial refresh completes in just 0.3s. The module supports SPI communication (3-wire/4-wire) and works on 3.3V logic. Online resources are provided, including a circuit diagram, examples for Raspberry Pi OS, plus a pwnagotchi porting guide.
This is a great option for low-power dashboards, clocks, labels, and other simple e-Paper display projects.
