8-Channel RS485 to RJ45 Ethernet Serial Server (PoE Option)
This is an industrial-grade serial data acquisition unit and IoT gateway. With eight independent RS485 channels and dual Ethernet ports (802.3af PoE optional - select variant before adding to cart), it provides a compact platform for applications such as data acquisition, industrial monitoring, safety and security systems, and IoT gateways. Each RS485 channel operates independently with configurable baud rates, ensuring stable communication without cross-interference.
The device supports a wide range of communication modes, including TCP server, TCP client, UDP, and UDP multicast, and combines multiple roles in a single unit. It can operate as a serial server, Modbus gateway, MQTT gateway, or perform RS485-to-JSON conversion. Dual Ethernet ports allow network cascading or segmented communication, while screw-terminal power input and optional PoE support provide flexible power options.
The unit features onboard power and signal isolation, surge and ESD protection, and multiple status LEDs for real-time monitoring. The aluminium alloy enclosure offers durability and effective heat dissipation, and the compact housing supports both wall-mount and DIN-rail installation for quick deployment and easy expansion in industrial control cabinets or field installations.
