The Seeed Sound Event Detection Module is a compact edge audio recognition board designed to identify key sound events locally, without relying on the cloud. It can accurately detect five specific sounds: Baby Cry, Glass Break, Gunshot, T3/T4 Alarms, and Snore, making it a practical option for responsive, privacy-focused monitoring and automation.

When paired with a Seeed Studio XIAO series controller, the module can be easily integrated into ESP Home and Home Assistant, allowing you to trigger smart home actions based on recognised sound events while keeping processing local.
