USB 3.2 Gen1 and M.2 HAT+ for Raspberry Pi 5

This HAT+ from Waveshare gives your Raspberry Pi 5 a PCIe M.2 interface for NVMe devices such as SSDs, whilst also providing four additional USB 3.2 ports for peripherals (think keyboards, printers, gamepads and more!).

Stacking on top of your Pi 5, this HAT connects to the Pi 5's PCIe port via the included PCIe cable, but maintains full GPIO pin access via the extended header. You can also use this HAT with an Active Cooler fitted.

The M.2 slot can accommodate 2230, 2242, 2260 or 2280-format M.2 devices (officially in Gen2 mode), with the popular option being an NVMe SSD for fast, high-capacity storage, or as a boot drive. The four onboard USB ports are high-speed USB 3.2 Gen1 spec, great for a range of USB devices including USB 3 flash drives.

The HAT includes a power monitoring chip, providing real-time monitoring of SSD drive power status, and an onboard EEPROM. Metal fixings/standoffs are included. LED indicators show power and read/write activity.

Raspberry Pi and SSD not included.
